The Green Bay Phoenix Men’s Basketball team likely slept in Tuesday morning after playing the University of the Pacific overnight as part of the ESPN Tip-Off Marathon. The game started at 1:00 AM Wisconsin time, 11:00 PM Monday night in Stockton, California.
The Phoenix hung close despite shooting poorly from the floor before the Tigers bolted to an 11-0 run midway through the second half on their way to a 76-58 victory.
Green Bay (1-1) shot just 30% for the game, making only 5 of 22 three point shots. The Phoenix were led by freshman Trevor Anderson with 14 points, Khalil Small added 13.
Green Bay now heads to Bowling Green, Ohio for the weekend Bill Frack Tournament, taking on Murray State in their first game Saturday night.
