UNDATED (MetroSource-WSAU) – Wisconsin’s average gas prices are up 7-cents a gallon as we start the most-Memorial Day summer driving season. Triple-A puts the state average at $2.38, which, while up from last week, is down 34-cents from the same time a year ago.
Higher prices are due to fires in the Canadian Oil Sands region which is restricting crude oil shipments to the Midwest, and refinery outages.
Green Bay drivers have the highest prices at $2.43, while the cheapest gas can be found in Madison at $2.31.
