WAUPACA, WI (WTAQ) – A failure by incumbent Waupaca County District Attorney John Snider to turn in signatures to seek re-election, along with not filing a declaration of non-candidacy, has allowed a contested race to take shape.
Due to the issue regarding Snider, officials put in place an extension of the filing period.
On Monday, the Government Accountability Board stated that Robert Foresth joined the race as a Democrat. He’ll take on Republican Veronica Isherwood, who previously filed, in the November election.
