WEYAUWEGA, Wis. (WSAU) — A man was rescued after being run over by his own tractor Tuesday night in Waupaca County.
A 64-year-old man on a farm in Weyauwega called 911 when his tractor began to malfunction, but Waupaca County Dispatch wasn’t able to speak with him before the call dropped. When they found a call back number based on his location, he told them that he had been run over by the tractor and was pinned by his mower deck attached to the vehicle.
The Weyawega Fire Department was sent to the scene around the intersection of County Highway X and Holiday Road and they were able to extricate the man, who was airlifted to Theda Clark Hospital for medical attention. His condition was not specified in a press release from the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office.
