(WNFL) – According to television news report on NBC 15 in Madison, city police have arrested former Wisconsin Badger running back Montee Ball for substantial battery early Friday morning. Police say the incident happened at the Hampton Inn & Suites at three-forty-three a.m. They said Ball and his girl friend were involved in a dispute. Ball’s girlfriend told police that she was thrown, and Ball said she was pushed. She reportedly fell and cut her leg on a table and required stitches. Ball played for the Badgers from 2009 through 2012 and was a member of the 2014 Denver Broncos Super Bowl team during his rookie season in the NFL.
