JANESVILLE, WI (WTAQ) – All four men accused of killing a five-year-old boy in Beloit are now in the Rock County Jail.
23-year-old Sergio Ortiz-Raygoza and 21-year-old Eric Salazar-Mota were extradited from Storm Lake, Iowa where a police tactical team arrested them last weekend — but their arrivals in Wisconsin were delayed by this week’s snowstorm.
Online court records do not say when they’ll make their first appearances before a judge on charges of first-degree intentional homicide. They and 2 others are accused in a drive-by shooting January 22nd that killed 5-year-old Austin Ramos, Jr.
Police say the bullet was meant for Austin’s father, who used to be with a gang that’s a rival to the defendants.
