MADISON, Wi (WSAU) The resilient Wisconsin mens hockey team found themselves down 3-1 in the first period of last night’s game against the Nebraska-Omaha Mavericks before rallying for a 3-3 tie and shootout win Friday night at the Kohl Center.
Badger goals were scored by Ryan Wagner, Grant Besse and Peter Tischke. Tischke’s equalizer was the first goal of his career.
Jack Berry had 27 saves for the Badgers who are now 7-5-1.They take on the Mavericks again tonight at 8pm.
The Badger womens hockey team is also in action today hosting Minnesota at 3pm at LaBahn Arena
