MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) A Milwaukee mother with a long history of alcohol use is being charged for her second co-sleeping death in nearly four years. Otisia P. Scott faces reckless endangerment after her three-month-old son Kelan died while sleeping with her last week. Police say the 36-year-old had left the infant alone several times to drink with a neighbor before the incident.
A test showed her blood-alcohol level was more than twice the legal driving limit.
In 2013, Scott’s two-month-old son Kamari also died while sharing a bed with her. Alcohol was involved in that death as well.
