GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – At least four homes on Green Bay’s east side were hit by bullets overnight – including one home in which a bedroom mattress was hit and another in which a mirror was hit.
The Green Bay Police Department says it happened in the area of Heather Road and Edgewood Drive around 10:30 p.m. Thursday.
Officers found spent shell casings in the road at the intersections.
Those who live in the area told police they heard two vehicles leaving in different directions after the shots were fired.
One vehicle was described as smaller with tinted windows, and witnesses said it had bright headlights and fog lamps.
Investigators think there were people in all four homes at the time, though no injuries were reported.
Police don’t think any of the homes were specifically targeted, calling it an “isolated incident.”
