WASHINGTON D.C. (WTAQ) – With milk and cheese getting all the headlines, you may not know that Wisconsin makes almost half of the nation’s green beans.
A bumper crop is expected this fall.
The USDA predicts that the Badger State will produce more than 320,000 tons of green beans. That’s 6 percent above last year, and it’s the most since 2009.
