MENASHA, WI (WTAQ) – Police in Menasha are investigating an armed robbery at a convenience store early Sunday.
Authorities say it happened at the Fox Convenience Marathon Gas Station around 2:30 a.m.
A masked suspect went inside the store and forced the clerk to the ground.
“At this point preliminary information is that they believe a white male entered wearing a Halloween mask, held the clerk at gunpoint and left with an unknown amount of cash,” Officer Matt Lenss, with the City of Menasha Police Department told FOX 11.
The suspect pulled a black semi-automatic handgun during the robbery, according to police.
Officials say the suspect appears to be a white male who was wearing a grey Halloween mask, a blue sweatshirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
