MISHICOT, WI (WTAQ) – Three teens were arrested shortly after they were suspected of robbing a Mishicot gas station.
According to the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Department, deputies were called to the KK Uni-Mart at 111 E. Church Street around 7:20 p.m. Tuesday.
Witnesses told investigators the suspects, who reportedly robbed the store at knifepoint, left in a vehicle headed east on Church Street.
Two Rivers police pulled over the suspects’ vehicle on Mishicot Road just 12 minutes later. Authorities found evidence inside the vehicle linking the teens to the armed robbery and also determined the vehicle had been stolen.
Two Appleton boys, ages 16 and 17, along with a 17-year-old Mishicot boy were arrested.
That same gas station was robbed back on September 7. The suspect in that heist, Dustin Kuik, was killed in a shootout with Ashwaubenon Public Safety officers two days later. Kuik’s girlfriend, Raeanna Nagy, worked at the store and has been charged in the incident.
