(WNFL)- Green Bay Packers’ kicker Mason Crosby did not have a perfect season last year with his extra-point attempts. And the same thing could happen this year, now that NFL owners have moved the ball back from the two-yard-line to the 15 for point-after-touchdown attempts. Crosby converted on 53 of 55 extra-point attempts last season and he made 100% of his PAT’s in five of his eight NFL seasons, all in Green Bay. The new extra points will basically be 33-yard attempts. If they’re blocked, the defenses can run them back for two points. Two-point conversions will continue to be at the two. The changes were approved by league owners yesterday. They will be in effect for the 2015 season, and will be evaluated after that.
