The Green Bay Gamblers are spending two days re-stocking their roster. Phase I of the United States Hockey League draft took place on Monday. The first phase is more of futures draft where most of the selected players may not get to the Tier 1 Junior Hockey club for a year or two. Green Bay had two choices in the first round inlcuding the second overall pick. They selected a defeseman, Matt Anderson of Holy Family Catholic High School in Minnesota. He’s already signed a letter of intent with Minnesota-Duluth. With the 15th overall pick, the Gamblers took forward Brock Caufield, a sophomore at Stevens Point Area High School. Caufield scored 22 goals with 32 assists last season. The rest of the picks:

Phase II of the draft takes place Tuesday as teams select players who are eligible to join them for the 2015-16 season.
