The Mount Horeb Vikings, followed up their semifinal victory over West De Pere with a 58-46 win against Rice Lake to capture the WIAA State Division 2 boys basketball championship Saturday night at the Kohl Center. It’s the Vikings first state title. Terek Nesheim led Mount Horeb with 14. Rice Lake fell in the title game for the second straight year, playing without All-State center Henry Ellenson who broke his left hand in their semifinal win against Greendale.
