WAUPACA, Wis. (WSAU) — Bond has been set at one million dollars for the woman accused of stabbing a man to death last Friday in Fremont.
43-year-old Alison Christy Roe is facing charges of first degree intentional homicide, endangering safety by dangerous weapon, and for not aiding a victim or reporting a crime.
Waupaca County Judge Vicki Clussman set the high cash bond Tuesday afternoon, and ordered Roe to have no contact with the family of Craig Dake.
Roe will be back in court for a preliminary hearing March 17th.
The Roes were in the process of getting a divorce, and the divorce case was scheduled to go before the court May 27th. Her husband Jeremy John Roe is already in prison. Alison Roe also has a history of legal issues, including retail theft and drug charges.
Police were called to an apartment complex at 397 Jefferson Street at 2:43 a.m. Friday, where Dake was found dead and Roe was taken into custody.
