(WNFL) – The slate is wiped clean, as the Class-“A” Midwest League begins the second half of its season tonight. The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and Beloit Snappers are especially appreciative of the fresh start, after nailing down the bottom two spots in the Western Division in the first half. Wisconsin hosts Clinton tonight at Fox Cities Stadium near Appleton.
The Timber Rattlers will send Kodi Medeiros (3-2, 4.50 ERA) to the mound while the LumberKings will start Zach Littel (2-1, 2.97).
Some numbers to play with regarding Wisconsin and Clinton. Wisconsin has a team batting average of .234 while Clinton’s batting average is .237. Wisconsin’s team ERA is 4.09. Clintons is 4.31.
The Timber Rattlers are 3-4 against the LumberKings this season.
