(WNFL) – Milwaukee Bucks’ coach Jason Kidd says it’s not true that he’s taking over the general manager’s post. OnMilwaukee.com and NBA.com reported that possibility over the past couple days, saying there’s a chance that G-M John Hammond would either leave or be re-assigned in what’s now the final year of his contract. Kidd left Brooklyn after an apparent power play in which he reportedly sought the G-M’s post in addition to his coaching duties. Both Kidd and Hammond said there’s no friction between each other. Hammond said he gives Kidd a lot of credit for taking a young Bucks’ team and improving their record by 26 wins last season. The two discussed the topic in Madison, where the Bucks will open their training camp in late September and play an exhibition game at the Kohl Center on October 20th against Minnesota.
