UNDATED (WSAU-Wheeler News) Governor Scott Walker says he wants to see if his message is connecting with voters throughout the nation, before he decides whether to run for president. The Republican Walker told reporters in Racine yesterday he’ll visit some important G-O-P primary states soon — including Nevada, South Carolina, and Florida.
Walker spoke to conservatives last weekend in Iowa, where the nation’s first caucuses are set for next January. The governor also plans to visit New Hampshire in March, the site of the nation’s first primaries. His trips to other major primary states have not been set yet.
Yesterday, Oklahoma Republicans said Walker will speak there in May at the Southern Republican Leadership Conference.
