SUPERIOR, WI (WTAQ) – The international shipping season has officially ended on the Great Lakes.
The John G. Munson was the last freighter find a dock at Duluth-Superior. It will spend the next two months getting routine maintenance work and repairs at the Fraser Shipyards in Superior.
The 2015 shipping season is due to begin in late March. The Great Lakes entry-way at the Soo Locks is scheduled to re-open on March 25th.
