Milwaukee Brewers catcher Johnathan Lucroy, who finished fourth in the Most Valuable Player balloting last summer, will miss most of this year’s spring training. The Brewers announced Lucroy has a strained hamstring that will keep him on the sidelines for between four and six weeks. The team expects Lucroy to be ready for the regular season opener. Lucroy set team and National League records for the most doubles by a catcher last year. Brewer pitchers and catchers report to Maryvale, Arizona a week from Friday.
