(WNFL)- The Green Bay men’s basketball team will try to keep pace in the Horizon League standings tonight, when it plays at Youngstown State. The Phoenix are 8-2 in league play, a half-game behind co-leaders Valparaiso and Cleveland State. Youngstown State comes in with the league’s worst record at 1-10, and an overall mark of 10-16. Green Bay is 19-5 overall, after a pair of victories over UW Milwaukee and Wright State in the past ten days. Alfonso McKinnie had 23 points and 10 rebounds for the Phoenix in an 11-point home win over UWM last Thursday night. Sophomore Marcus Keene leads Youngstown in scoring with almost 16 points a game. Green Bay is going for its sixth straight victory over the Penguins. The Phoenix are going for a two-game season sweep for the third straight year, after beating Youngstown 82-67 at home on January 11th.
