OAK CREEK, WI (WTAQ) – Members of the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin gathered to observe the 3rd anniversary of the shooting massacre at their sanctuary in Oak Creek.
White supremacist gunman Wade Michael Page killed six worshipers on August 5th of 2012, and shot himself to death just a split after a policeman’s bullet struck him.
Wednesday night, a two-hour meditation and prayer service took place before a candlelight vigil outside the temple.
Temple vice president Balhair Dulai says he prays for the victims, the families, and those injured in the shootings. He says temple members also pray that God forgive Page for what he caused.
