It was a long day in Tennessee but worth it for Cambridge, Wisconsin native Matt Kenseth. He had to endure four rain delays, 11 extra laps and nearly nine hours of racing to capture the checkered flag at the Food City 500 at Bristol. A seven time winner in the 2013 season, Kenseth failed to win a single race last year and his victory Sunday ended a 51 race drought. Kenseth held off Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon to the finish line in a race that went beyond the 500 laps because of the rain.
Kenseth finally back in winners circle
