GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ)- Gas experts say you may want to fill up before you leave for the holidays
Gas prices across the state are on the way up.
Patrick DeHaan of Gas Buddy says oil refinery disruptions at two locations could lead to a significant increase.
In the last few days, two refineries in the region are experiencing some setbacks, leading to the price increase.
“Maybe as much as five to fiveteen cents a gallon by the time next week rolls around.”
Gas prices were likely to stay steady before the refinery disruptions, but the earlier you fill the tanks will save you money
“You will probally notice, compaired to today, Christmas Day and next week, the prices will be higher.”
While it is not unheard of to have holiday increases, DeHaan said this one was not planned.
