GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Green Bay Fire officials say an overheated bathroom ceiling fan is responsible for a Tuesday morning apartment fire.
Crews were called to 1525 Capitol Drive at 8:32 am for reports of smoke on the second floor of an unoccupied apartment building.
The blaze was quickly extinguished after the bathroom ceiling was pulled down to access all hotspots.
No other units were affected, and all tenants returned to their apartments.
Damage is estimated at $10,000.
Nobody has been displaced or injured.
