(WNFL) – Green Bay Phoenix women’s basketball coach Kevin Borseth got a milestone victory last night.
Bortseth got NCAA Division 1 victory number 500 Thursday night when the Phoenix defeated Wright State 68-59 in Dayton, Ohio.
Frankie Wurtz led the Phoenix with 27 points with a 12-for-15 game at the free throw line. Hailey Oskey added 15 points and Madison Wolf 10. Wolf also had 12 rebounds.
The Phoenix shot 39 percent for the game from the floor and 33 percent on three-pointers.
Wright State which was led by Angel Baker with 23 points shot 36 percent from the floor and 30 percent on three-pointers.
The Phoenix play at Northern Kentucky on Saturday.
