APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – The first weekend of driving the new diverging diamond interchange in Appleton was a success as no crashes were reported by Appleton Police.
The first such interchange in the area opened on Saturday morning at the interchange at Highway 441 and Oneida Street.
Police also say that no citations were issued in the area this past weekend.
According to Captain Todd Freeman, police could deploy extra patrols in the area if problems do develop.
