WINNEBAGO COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – A new ramp closure and traffic switch are starting next week in Winnebago County as the Highway 441 expansion project enters, what should be, its final year.
The on-ramp from Appleton Road/Hwy. 47 to northbound Hwy. 441/eastbound Hwy. 10 will close Thursday and remain closed for the next three months.
While the on-ramp to southbound 441/westbound 10 will close later in April and stay closed for three months.
Remaining open will be the off-ramps to Appleton Road/Hwy. 47.
The eastbound lanes of traffic on 441/10 are scheduled to be switched Thursday night and the eastbound/northbound traffic will move over to the westbound/southbound lanes that were rebuilt last year.
Because of this, construction on the eastbound/northbound lanes can begin.
