GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – An ordinance was approved on Monday by the Green Bay City Council, which prohibits possession of tobacco and vapor products by minors.
A minor is defined as an individual less than 18-years-old.
The ordinance prohibits a minor from selling tobacco or vapor products in a public place, possessing tobacco or vapor products, and smoking or vaping in a public place.
A minor is also prohibited from purchasing or attempting to purchase tobacco or vapor products and falsely reporting age while attempting to purchase tobacco or vapor products.
