Jason Miller, a very close friend of mine and former Midwest Communications employee, is a hell of a wheelchair softball player and the team he plays for, the Minnesota Rolling Twins, won the Wheelchair Softball World Series earlier this month in Kansas City, Kansas. If you aren’t familiar with the sport you might assume that it’s not as exciting as watching a Brewers game. During the week of the Wheelchair Softball World Series I house sat, dog sat and teen sat for the Miller’s. Jason’s oldest son and I were watching the championship game online and when the collision at the plate occurred, we flew out of our seats and celebrated like kids on Christmas day! Here’s a really good feature on the team from a CBS affiliate in Minnesota:
Congrats to my man Jason Miller, who was the winning pitcher of the championship game, and to the entire Minnesota Rolling Twins!
