(LAWRENCE ATHLETICS) ADRIAN, Mich. — The Lawrence University women’s hockey team fell 10-0 to No. 5 Adrian College on Friday in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association game at Arrington Ice Arena.
The fifth-ranked Bulldogs scored three times in the opening period, four times in the second and three more times in the third.
Courtney Ben recorded a hat trick for Adrian (6-1-0, 5-0-0 NCHA).
Lawrence goaltender Sarah Dobrzynski made 43 saves in the opening two periods. Sydney Seeley came on in the third and stopped 16 shots for the Vikings (1-5-1, 1-3-1). Kiera Stack made four saves to record the shutout for Adrian.
The teams wrap up the series on Saturday afternoon.
