OSHKOSH, WI (WSAU) — A Wood County man tried to escape from work release on Tuesday afternoon in Winnebago County.
Bradley Webie escaped from correctional facilities during work release on Tuesday morning. Oshkosh Police asked the public on Tuesday to be on the lookout for Webie. He was found by Oshkosh police at about 1:30 p.m.
Webie was serving his sentence at the Winnebago Correctional Center for a 2017 Wood County burglary conviction. Online court records show Webie has ties to Wood, Portage, and Adams counties. His last known address before his incarceration was in Wisconsin Rapids.
No information was given out as to where police found Webie on Tuesday afternoon. But Oshkosh police did thank the public for their quick response and assistance.
