APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – An Outagamie County woman pleaded not guilty to charges of reckless homicide after allegedly providing a fatal dose of drugs to the girlfriend of the man who purchased them from her.
58-year-old Kellie Kappell will return to court in June for a pre-trial conference.
The criminal complaint states that Kappell sold Rebecca Lee’s boyfriend heroin.
The next day, police were called to a North Richmond Street Apartment were Lee was found unresponsive.
Kappell faces up to 56 years if convicted.
