GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – The suspect in a Green Bay murder was ordered to stand trial on Wednesday.
32-year-old Brion Hatcher faces a charge of first-degree intentional homicide in connection to the killing of Tavarious Edwards on January 27.
Court records show that Hatcher enters a plea April 23.
According to Green Bay Police, Hatcher was arrested in connection with the shooting at a home on George Street.
Witnesses told authorities that Hatcher believed Edwards stole $1,000 from him, but when speaking with police, Hatcher denied having any problem with Edwards or involvement in his murder, according to the criminal complaint.
Edwards died from a gunshot wound to the neck.
