WAUPACA COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – Waupaca County Sheriff deputies say two runaway teens allegedly stole a vehicle, led officers on a pursuit and crashed in Shawano County.
The teens ran away from Rawhide Boys Ranch Saturday and stole an SUV from a New London home.
New London Officers terminated the pursuit after it reached a high rate of speed.
Waupaca County Sheriff Deputies and Clintonville Police also located the SUV and began a pursuit. They too ended the pursuit after speeds reached a dangerous rate.
Shawano County deputies later located the vehicle and began their own pursuit before the vehicle rolled and crashed.
A 15-year-old boy and 17-year-old boy were taken into custody.
