JANESVILLE, WI (WTAQ) – The 32-year-old Wisconsin man accused of stealing more than one dozen weapons from a Janesville gun shop and sending an anti-government manifesto to President Trump has pleaded not guilty to federal charges.
Joseph Jakubowski was recently the subject of a ten-day manhunt that involved hundreds of authorities from the local, state, and federal levels.
He was apprehended April 14 from a primitive campsite in a Vernon County farm field.
Jakubowski’s lawyer says he will not challenge his client’s competency ahead of a scheduled September 25 trial.
