A Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium record crowd of 5954 turned out Sunday for the Wisconsin TimberRattlers home opener. The fans were treated to a star of the future for the Milwaukee Brewers as 2014 top draft choice Kodi Mederios pitched six, no-hit innings with nine strikeouts. Mederios left the game with a 1-0 lead but the Rattlers fell apart late in losing to Peoria 11-1. The Chiefs erupted for 7 runs in the 8th inning and tacked on four more in the ninth. Wisconsin is off to an 0-4 start and they’ll host Peoria again Monday night at 6:35 PM.
