Suamico, WI (WTAQ) – The gloves are off as the Howard-Suamico School District announces the launch of a new, year long, campaign to raise $3.5 million.
It’s called the “Upward Together: Howard-Suamico Education Campaign”. Greg Klimek is the campaign’s co-chair. He’s a graduate from the district, and his kids are students there now.
The district says the money will be used to enrich student experiences, expand faculty and staff learning opportunities and improve facilities.
Jean Nolle is on the campaign cabinet. She says the money raised will not only help her three kids get a better education….but be good for the entire community.
The campaign follows last spring’s successful $13.4 million referendum for the Howard-Suamico School District.
More than $1 million for this effort has already been raised.
