MADISON, WI (WSAU) — Wisconsin did not come up empty in Wednesday’s half-billion dollar Mega Millions drawing.
Lottery officials say two residents won the game’s third prize of $10,000 by correctly matching four of the five white balls and the mega ball. Those tickets were sold in Clayton and Phillips, both located in northwestern Wisconsin.
The winning ticket in Wednesday’s drawing was sold in Northern California. That winner or winning group has yet to come forward.
Wisconsin lottery officials will also be paying out a split of the $77,000 Badger 5 jackpot. Winning tickets for that prize were sold in Sauk City and Racine.
