ST. LOUIS, MO (METRO) – The Cardinals tallied seven runs in the seventh inning to beat the Brewers 13-5 in St. Louis.
Dexter Fowler went 4-for-5 with a home run and four RBI for St. Louis. Paul Goldschmidt contributed three hits, including a two-run shot, and three RBI for the Cards. Jack Flaherty got the win as St. Louis claimed its third straight.
Ryan Braun, Hernan Perez, Yasmani Grandal and Travis Shaw homered for Milwaukee. Jacob Barnes retired only one of the six Cards he faced in the seventh, with five scoring. Adrian Houser took the loss, the Brewers’ fifth in six games.
