ABBOTSFORD, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — Two people are dead and one is injured following an early-morning shooting in Abbotsford Saturday.
Police say it happened in a home in the 400 block of East Maple Street at around 3 AM. That’s where officers found one man and one woman deceased and one woman with minor injuries. Her condition hasn’t been updated.
The Colby-Abbotsford Police Department, Marathon and Clark County Sheriff’s Deputies, and Wisconsin State Crime Lab are all investigating the incident.
Newsline 9 reports that the shooter is in custody and will make his initial court appearance Monday afternoon. He’ll face two counts of intentional first-degree homicide and one count of attempted intentional first-degree homicide. It’s believed the shooter knew the victims in some way, however police won’t elaborate on the relationship.
