GILLETT, WI (WTAQ)- Two more arrests were made in relation to Wednesday shooting in Green Bay.
A 28-year old male and 18-year old female were arrested early Thursday morning at a motel in Gillett.
Green Bay Police learned the whereabouts of a suspect that was on the run since a Wednesday afternoon shooting on Shawano Avenue.
Officer requested assistance from the Gillett Police Department in the early morning hours Thursday.
Officer located the vehicle at the motel, and with assistance from the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office, evacuated the other occupants and moved in.
Officers got information that other accomplices could be at the motel, and some could be armed.
The arrests were made without incident.
Officers located several items related to the use or distribution of marijuana and methamphetamines in the hotel room.
Gillett police are filing drug charges in Oconto County, and other charges could be filed in Brown County, pending the shooting investigation.
Green Bay Police took three others into custody Wednesday afternoon.
