UNDATED (WSAU) – Kroger plans to add gas stations to many Pick ‘n Save locations in southeast Wisconsin as it faces added competition in the Milwaukee area.
Its Roundy’s division will seek the approval of the Menomonee Falls village plan commission Tuesday night for a gas station at the Pick ‘n Save on Appleton Avenue. They also want to add gas pumps at a location in Stoughton.
Just over half of Kroger’s supermarkets nationwide had fuel centers as of last January. The chain has been selling gasoline since 1998. Gas discounts would be tied into the chain’s store-loyalty cards.
