GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Green Bay Police releasing the following statement:
On Tuesday November 21st at approximately 10:30am, Green Bay School Resource Officers learned of a threat to Southwest High School.
A threatening note was made by a 15 year old female student.
As a precaution, the police department worked with the school district and put Southwest High School into a lockdown.
Several patrol units responded to the area and quickly located the student off campus.
The school was locked down for approximately 30 minutes.
Officers are currently interviewing the student and will work with the Brown County District Attorney’s office on any criminal charges. No students were injured during this incident.
Since the student is a juvenile no further information can be released.
The Green Bay Police Department will have extra patrol units near the school through out the day.
