EAU CLAIRE, WI (WSAU) Police say a juvenile suspect has admitted to writing threats in the Memorial High School bathroom.
Authorities released a statement Thursday afternoon saying the suspect was referred to Eau Claire County Juvenile Intake on suspicion of making terrorist threats and a bomb scare. A message on the department’s Twitter page says the suspect is a 15-year-old girl.
The threat was left Wednesday morning on a stall in a school bathroom. It said “Get your students out B4 I kill them,” “If you don’t they will die!”, “I have a bomb and loaded gun,” and “I’m hiding somewhere. You have until lunch to get them out.”
The discovery prompted an evacuation of students and staff. Five specially trained dogs were brought in from the state patrol and surrounding jurisdictions. The school was searched and nothing was found.
The student was identified after survailance video was reviewed.
