MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Charges have been filed against four people in connection with a heroin and methamphetamine drug ring in Manitowoc County.
Darryl Reynolds, Jeffrey Truettner, Claurice Smith and Myron Pieschel are expected to make initial appearances in court Monday afternoon.
According to the Metro Drug Unit, investigators made multiple purchases of heroin during a four-month period in Manitowoc and Rockford, Ill.
Police allege Reynolds was responsible for $135,000-$200,000 worth of heroin sales in Manitowoc during the course of a year.
Reynolds is charged with manufacture/delivery of heroin. Truettner faces three felonies, including manufacture/delivery of heroin.
Smith is charged with two felonies, including possession with intent to deliver heroin.
Pieschel faces two counts, including manufacture/delivery of heroin.
