GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Officials say unattended cooking led to a stove fire that caused $10-thousand dollars in damage at a Green Bay home.
Green Bay Fire was called to 1273 Cedar Street at 3:55 am Saturday.
Investigators say the occupant had a pan on the stove that caught fire and attempted to throw it out the back door, starting the rear porch ablaze.
The person reportedly suffered injuries when jumping from the second floor of the residence to escape, being evaluated on scene but refusing transport.
