Appleton Police Retrieve Weapons in Student Disturbance
APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – Appleton police responded to a call of a gun being displayed during an altercation involving area high school students on Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities were called to the 1500 block of Schneider Place around 4 p.m. where students from Appleton were planning on fighting students from Menasha.
A 16-year-old student from Menasha revealed a Taser and later obtained a pellet gun. He walked down the street pointing the weapon at people.
The incident ended before officers arrived at the scene.
No one was injured.
Four students are being referred to Juvenile Intake and four others are receiving Disorderly Conduct citations.
