GREEN BAY (WLUK) — The Green Bay Police Department says at least five shots were fired in the 1500 block of Leo Street on Green Bay’s west side Saturday afternoon.
“I was sitting on the front porch and they was arguing, in the apartment building” said a woman who lives in the area and spoke to WLUK.
She went on to say a man had a knife but others took it from him.
“I don’t know where he came from but somebody else pulled up and he pulled out a gun and they was just shooting in the air and then, everybody just ran after that.”
The incident happened just after 3 p.m. When police went into the apartment, they say the suspect was not inside. Police are still looking for that person.
Officials did not release a description of the suspect and say no one was hurt.
“It is believed that this was not a random act and the groups knew each other to some degree,” police said in a news release.
